Thursday~We met Tara for lunch as she was working. Clay dropped us off and went to her work to walk her to the restaurant. We took pictures while we were waiting.

Killian told me "Mimi, you look cool in those glasses", so I let him try them on.

Then he wanted to try on Papa's glasses.

then no glasses.

thumbs up. Mom is here.

"what, I'm not going to be the only child anymore?"

thursday afternoon~CM Russell Museum

Since our first visit to Great Falls I wanted to go visit the CM Russell Museum. My boss is a big cowboy art collector and told me about it. I finally got to go today as we had a couple hours before our flight left. The big Cowboy art sale was last week so they're still getting art back up and when we walked in they told us there was no charge today. It was huge and no one was there. K loved walking all around it. So did I.

K especially loved this ramp. The first time he went down it I was in front of him and he thought it was so fun. Here his Daddy is holding on to him so he didn't go to fast.

The bonus was an incredible room just for kids to play.

Correction: Kids and Adults to Play

He's pretty wore out here. There were lots of animal pelts and he told us "I don't think they like being dead"

Then it's time to say good bye again. Had a wonderful visit. Love this little guy so much.

Montana Trip with K

Papa and his buddy.

Mimi & K playing with his squishy (play do)

At school doing a great job.
We took a walk through the main school. K asked if we could "peek in" on Mr Jardee the principal.

Playing in the water.

When in MT you have to shoot.

K got a new fan light in his bedroom and wanted to make sure he got to help put it up.

The lady sitting in the chair closest to us is Karen and she is one of K's therapist. In this picture the teacher is trying to get all the kids attention and have silence and I didn't realize it and we were having a good old time gabbing on this side of the circle until Clay & Papa both told me at the same time Mimi, Shhhh! Oops. Sorry.

K and his Dada making faces.

The UT Grizzlies beat the CO Eagles 6-1.

It was Boo's first professional hocky game and he loved it. His favorite thing were the fights and that the guys had to go in time out.
I think my tooth is ready to fall out.
It's out and it went flying. We thought we found it and Chels started examining and it was popcorn. But we finally found it, he lost it two more times before the game was over, and he finally got home with it so the tooth fairy could leave some money.

This sweet little angel was sitting on my lap and I was thinking there won't be to many more hocky games he'll want to sit on my lap. We went with our neighbors who are big hocky players and fans and Boo was listening to him a little to much because all of the sudden I hear this little angel  shout: "Colorado Sucks". Oh dear. At the beginning of the game he was asking me if we should root for UT or CO.

All he wants is Papa

I talked to K last week and told him I was coming to see him. He asked if I was going to bring him a present. I told him of course, what would he like for his present and he said Papa.
I talked to him again tonight and told him I would see him in a few days and is there anything I needed to bring, he replied PAPA. OK, I get it.

Really Gavin, Really

We had to park across a busy street this morning to get to Boo's school program. Chels told him to grab on to someone's hand to cross the street. He thought about it a minute, looked at Chels, Tom and I and grabbed my hand. He and I headed around the front of the car while Tom and Chels went around the back. He looked up at me and said "My mom is probably thinking;  Really Gavin, Really".
I remember when Chels was his age and mom sent a care package. Chels told me "I wish I had a mom as nice as yours". I reminded her she did. :)
And she reminded me today there were probably times she would've chosen her Grandma over me. Really Chels, Really???  Well of course.....

And it's a girl!! We're so excited!!!

How our day went: Text from Clay @ 3:42: "It's a ....I will call you in a few. But we know."
and I waited and waited and waited.  As I'm driving Clay called @ 4:17  "Did you get the picture?" I told him no and he said "Call me back when you get it".  I asked him to let me talk to Killian and he laughed and said No and I waited and waited and waited and I finally received this picture a couple minutes later. However driving down the highway I couldn't tell if the shoes were red or pink. Then I decided why would they send red shoes. So I called him back to verify and I smiled so much all the way home my cheeks hurt. Carole called and said to ask Clay how the middle name BarbPamCarole sounded. He said "not likely". So I abbreviated it to "BoPCy" . We'll have to work on that.  I talked to Killian and he told me "My Dada told me It's a Girl, and I told him NO, I want a boy" ha   I'm positive he's going to love his little sister. We already love her.

Basketball and Boo, the next Michael Jordan.

Boo loves to play basketball. Last fall he got this pair of Michael Jordan basketball shoes. Well he wouldn't wear them outside because he didn't want to get them dirty!!! Chels finally convinced him he could play basketball and jump better if he'd wear them, so 7 months later he finally wore them. Good thing they still fit. We're not going to tell him the pro's only wear their shoes once per game.
As we were walking to the BB court we were talking about what we were doing for dinner and decided on leftovers. Then a car sees us, pulls over and hands us one of Papa Murphy's new cheeseburger pizzas. It was our neighbors who own it. Gotta love Stansbury Park.

If you're reading this right now, by tonight we'll know if K is having a sister or a brother.........

Mimi Day with silly Boo

Boo's favorite entertainment? He is obsessed with my totes that I put vinyl on. He can't stand it when I have several sitting around and he can't have them.
Today we also went to The Lorax. Chels and I were more excited than Boo to go to it, but we all loved it.

Monday, Point Lobos State Reserve and the Winchester Mansion

We met a gal walking on the beach Sun night and visited with her for awhile. She is a hospice nurse and rents one of the condos on the beach. She suggested we go to this state reserve. We were glad we did as it was beautiful. There were hiking trails everywhere with amazing views.

Lots of seals. The day before the rangers saw Mama whales with their babies heading north.

Cute little otter we saw.

On the way back to the airport we stopped in San Jose at The Winchester Mansion. After her husband and child died the Winchester widow kept adding on to this house for 38  years. She thought the house was haunted by the ghosts of the people who fell victim to Winchester rifles, and that only continuous construction would appease them. Tom and I had seen a documentary on it last year.

spare parts. Tom wanted some of them.

The back of the mansion.

Sun evening pictures in Monterey

Nice painting on a sea wall by the Cannery Area.

We take a lot of pictures and when we get a good one we call it "The Money Shot". This picture is the money shot of this vacation. It was at sunset and  I love the reflextion of these cute little birds. I think I may need to blow this one up.
