K and I shopped until we dropped on Saturday. Six and half hours and Six stores.

Pumpkin Patch NPS Style.

 Sleeping in Ikea.  He also told Tara that night that he thought of a new name for the baby: Ikea. It does have a K in it.

And then awake and revitalized and trying out chocolate from Ikea. I told him we were heading home now to see his mommy and he said "I thought we were going to Hobby Lobby" so guess he wasn't tired of shopping yet. We then hit Hobby Lobby and Ross before heading home. And after all that shopping, what was his favorite thing I got him? The batman from the McDonald's Happy Meal.

Other cute things he told me this week end.  We were talking about how much we loved each other and we were saying to the moon and back, to infinity and beyond, etc and he told me I love you to UT Scheels and back.
Then Sun Grammy Barbie came out and they were in the living room having a good time playing and when I walked by he said "Mimi, I'm enjoying my family". 

My Helper

Friday night I was doing dishes and Miss Kinzi came in to help me. Not sure what to do to keep her busy I dried out the sink and stuck her in it. She washed dishes and stayed dry for most of the time.
Then she decided she needed a drink of water and discovered how to turn the faucet on and off. By the time we were finished she was soaked and I was a happy Mimi to have such a good helper while I was doing the dishes.

Mimi Day 092513

Papa and I took Boo to the play Tarzan. I wanted a picture with the grown up Tarzan but he had a line because he was so hot, so I  took the young Tarzan's picture with Boo. It was so good I'm going back tonight with my girlfriends.  

Killian's Photo Shoot. How it started~ K wanted to know what was in this old trunk. I told him it was my treasures. So I opened it and showed him and he said "Boring". The next sentence was a surprise to me; "Mimi when you and Papa die can I have it?".  So this is a notice that the old trunk filled with boring stuff goes to Killian.

and here's a picture of the princess.  While we were at the play Aunt Chelsea was fixing her hair. She is their favorite babysitter. When I asked Killian if he was ready for lunch today he told me "No, I'm just ready for Aunt Chelsea".

Good Morning Sunshine.

One of the best things about Tara and the kids staying at our house is getting this
little one up in the morning and rocking her to sleep at night. She is a snuggler. In the
morning Papa gets her up a lot of mornings and she gets to drink her milk on his lap
while they rock and watch politics on TV and her mommy gets to sleep in a little.
Lately she stands up and hollers "Papa" in the morning until he comes in to get her.

Mimi Day 091813

We said good bye to Killian's Dada as he headed back to MT for just a few more weeks.

St. George Friends

Sat night we had dinner with Ronnie & Patti and delivered the address label from the ammunition crate. Funny that it's been outside at Carolyn's house for over 50 yrs but I didn't want anything to happen to it and wanted to hand deliver it.
Sun we met Tom and Karen. Karen and I shopped until we dropped and the boys golfed until they dropped. Then Sun night to Kayenta to see Paul & Bonnie. Paul~my old boss who I saw every week for over 20 yrs until last month when he retired.
Then Monday a little shopping and back home.

Green Valley Spa Getaway Week end to St. George

I pick out hotel rooms like most people pick out houses. I read reviews and hope to get something differn't and a little luxurious for a good price.
Chose this resort even though the reviews weren't the best. It turned out to be  nice. I think back in it's day it was very luxurious with lots of celebrities going there. Luckily now it's for normal people so we could go.
Since they are a spa resort they had tons of classes and services ( which we didn't partake in).
 I got a feeling that a lot of really unhappy people have stayed here.  Fat people wanting to be skinny, depressed people wanting to be happy, and people looking for something spiritual that they haven't found yet. We just enjoyed the room and patio and serenity and  24 hr hot tub and pool.

Vintage Dress

My grandma made this dress for me for my 1st birthday. Chelsea also wore it on her
1st birthday. I drug it out yesterday to get a picture of Kinzi in it. Saved it for over 50 yrs 
hoping I had a cute little grand daughter someday.

First day of pre school in UT and Race Track at the High School.

Tues night we took K to the SHS track. He went around 5 times and had a ball. He screamed and shrieked and laughed. He said Papa was the dragon and we were trying to get away from him. He was the dragon slayer and I was Princess Mimi. I decided I really liked that name. The only downside is that Papa changed the speed on Killian's car to fast and I couldn't keep up with him. I jogged for over a mile.

Saturday. A soccer game and CJC fundraiser bounce house.

Ice Cream is so yummy after a hot day at the zoo. Even better that they came with French fries.

Couldn't go without Papa even tho he was talking real estate some of the time.
