We met a gal walking on the beach Sun night and visited with her for awhile. She is a hospice nurse and rents one of the condos on the beach. She suggested we go to this state reserve. We were glad we did as it was beautiful. There were hiking trails everywhere with amazing views.

On the way back to the airport we stopped in San Jose at The Winchester Mansion. After her husband and child died the Winchester widow kept adding on to this house for 38 years.She
thought the house was haunted by the ghosts of the people who fell victim to Winchester rifles, and that only continuous construction would appease them. Tom and I had seen a documentary on it last year.
