Mon: Heading to the airport this morning. We left extra early since it's Memorial Day and we had some rain. So we knew we're going to arrive plenty early and headed to the mall by the airport we've went to before to waste time. Then.....we see a Gatorland Billboard. Gav is sleeping and we decide to surprise him. We're in the Gatorland parking lot when we wake him up. It's 15 min from the airport. It was pretty awesome for a 12 yr old. Been there since 1949. Pretty cool to see once. And on our flight home we flew through the eye of the storm. A bit bumpy before and after. Sun: Our storm threats ended and the day ended up being amazing. A little wind and some standing water but it was a great day.

we got up early to go shark tooth hunting this morning for a couple hours and then the rain started coming down hard. The streets were so full of water it was scary driving. Subtropical storm Alberto heading our way. We kept an eye on the weather forecast and in between rain we did everything we wanted. And luckily we all packed raincoats. For a few hours we debated if we should head inland, then at the last min the storm speeded up and changed directions away from us. And I tell Tom luckily we're traveling with him and his Lucky Hat.

We visited Peggy and Big Papa. Shelby went with us so she could see Tiger, her kitty she gave them. And because she was asking her mom about Big Papa's wife and "What does her face look like?" I guess it's been awhile since she's seen them.

Happy Mother's Day

Shelby came running in the kitchen saying "Happy Mother's Day". Then she stopped and said "Where's all the decorations?" She then told Papa & Boo Happy Valentine's Day. and Chels & Boo went to the Khaled Concert for Mother's Day.

May 3-6

We took Miss B to Idaho to hang out with the kids and Clay while Tara was in AZ. At bedtime Liam was asking when his mom was coming home & Clay told him not until tomorrow. Liam asked "Can we get another mom for tonight?" We went to the Zoo, and bought a new trampoline & went to Killians BB Game. Liam took a 4 hour nap after we went home, plus went to bed and slept all night. Yep is was a busy week end. But fun! HI MIMI!!!

MIss B

Shelby was running around at Grandpas House & he told her "You need to slow down or you're going to get hurt". She told him "I will slow down tomorrow".

Boo had a 12th birthday party and it was a great day. He told us he wanted a BBQ & so we did and he had lots of cute friends come. And I got a super big hug when it was over so I think he was happy about it all.

Smoky Mtns

Fri-SLC-BNA We arrived in Nashville around 7 and drove to Gatlinburg in the dark and rain and incorrect GPS. Sat-Pigion Forge to see Tanya Tucker at Country Tonite. Grocery shopping Sun-Gatlinburg shopping. A little cold but the rain has stopped. Moved into our new cabin. We LOVE it and want one, jut a little closer to our house. Mon-Arts and Crafts 7 mile Loop. Junk shopping. and dinner at Crystell Creek listening to singer song writers with dinner. Tues-Smoky Mtn Park. Saw a momma bear and her babies. Wed-Dollywood Saw Crystal Gayle & Suzy Boggus. Enjoyed the park. Wish we had more time there. Ate at a great restaurant The Old Mill. So much food and so good! Thu-Drove back to Nashville to spend the night. Stopped for a picnic lunch at the TN Rest Area as we had so many yummy leftovers from our meal last night. Bar hopping in Nashville. Ryman Theatre to see Oak Ridge Boys, Gatlin Bros, Mo Bandy & Janie Fricke, and the back stage tour. Fri the 13th-Nashville Bus tour, lunch at Grand Old Opry Hotel & home in bed by 10.
