I told him to smile like he did for his school pictures today.

Thurs. On the way to the hospital Boo and Papa drove by the Great Salt Lake and Boo told him he'd never been there. So after visiting at the hospital for a little while Papa decided it was such a beautiful day he was going to take Boo to do something fun. I didn't want to miss out so I met them there also. Funny things Boo said today:  "Are brine shrimp tan like my Mom?"   "Papa, there are a Gallion Brine Shrimp" And we met some people with a little dog named Doogle. Gavin told the owner 'we doogle all the time, oh that's Google.'  And the last thing is he asked if he could do sprinklers again for the fourth of July at the cabin. We figured out he meant Sparklers.

Yesterday Tom and I got up and I told him this is the first Saturday in a year that there isn't  something we have to do today. So we worked around the house a little, we took Dewayne to a matinee movie, went and looked at our new house on the hill, and after we went to get Boo to spend the night with us.  What a difference a day makes.

Sweet Little Angel

Got our taxes to the accountant. I work cheap, I just wanted to go to NPS shopping after. I didn't find much but we told Boo if he was really quiet at the accountants he could get something. Chels told him anything except a stuffed animal because they just donated a whole bag to the DI. Guess what he picked out? And who am I to say No? He picked out this cute little doggy tucked in his jacked and took a nap with him. Well worth my money. 

Hooters for Two

Clay, Tara & Killian were watching TV and a Hooters commercial came on. Clay said Killian was just staring at the screen so he asked him "Do you want to go to Hooters?" and Killian said "Yes, go with Boo Boo!"

Gavin and I babysat Kendra, our friends grandbaby in the morning.  She thought he was pretty neat!

Gavin caught his first blue gill of the year. Woot Woot!!!

Then we made an unexpected road trip to Wendover.  The wind was blowing 100 mph but Papa stopped and ran out to the salt flats to get a piece of salt so Boo could see  what was all over the ground. That was good until Boo decided to lick it and see if it really was salt. Yep, salt x 100.

and the Booism of the day if you're watching American Idol:  Gavin calls the country western guy "BabyLoc, Baby Loc" because he keeps singing that song  Baby Lock the doors & turn the lights down low......
I couldn't figure out who BabyLoc was until he explained it. ha  Now it makes sense.

And Killian lost Snuglie at daycare this week. He's had him since before he was born & slept with him every night.  He also lost his dog Piper. Wish he was here to give a squeeze to.

Fish First of the year~A big old carp.

Gavin and Papa decided to  throw a pole in the water.  Chelsea & I decided to go for a walk and since they hadn't had much luck fishing Gavin asked if he could ride his bike and go with us. We walked to the end of the block and around the corner on the green belt where Gavin could see Tom had a fish on the pole. He got off his bike, left it, and took off running as fast as he could in his flip flops. He got there in time to reel it in. We were all laughing so hard at him and he was so excited he told us "It's the Fish First of the year!"

Killian's Here!!!!

Puttin stickers on Papa.

He was such a trooper at the Primary Childrens Hospital getting his Botox shots. This was his pillow. He got to choose what flavor of gas to put him out and he chose cotton candy. Tara told him to tell the Dr when he came in and everyone that walked by he shouted "I want candy!"

This was the dolly the wonderful volunteers gave him. He got to paint the hair and bring him home from the hospital with it's  little hospital gown.

Papa loves the neighbors dog and went and borrowed him to show Killian.

Killian loves our kitty and kept trying to pet him. We told him Remember what happened last time and the kitty bopped you and he replied "It was a accident!"



Our little sheik.  Worth all the money in the world.

Gavin heard Sam from iCarly was coming to SLC and he really, really wanted to go see her.  She made a guest appearance at the Autorama Show so we had to buy tickets to get in there first. We took turns standing in line for 2 hours. It's amazing what we do for our kids/grandkids. But Gavin deserves it. 

Jonathan Hillstrand from TV's "Deadliest Catch" had a shorter line so Chels & Boo went over to meet this

famous fisherman first. 

Jeanette McCurdy - "Sam Puckett" from TV's "iCarly" is who we went to see. Boo wanted to invite her to his birthday party.  He thought she was prettier in real life than on TV. 

And since we were 1/2 way to Big Papa's house we went out to meet Dennis Ernesto who is 2 days old. He is darling and I forgot how soft babies skin is. Peggy was saying how he came out so clean and without any mucous or blood. I didn't realize Boo was listening until he said "Maybe he had a Baby Shower."

Mimi Day 030211 Favorite Little Boys in the whole world.

We talked to Clay and Killian today and Clay asked Killian who his favorite person was and he said "Boo Boo is my favorite little boy in the whole world!"  Everyone knows who my two favorite little boys in the whole wide world are! 

Papa & Boo went fishing and they caught a duck.

Boo looking at Great Gma Frances stamp collection. Note his camouflage shirt. He has worn it everyday for a week now. He has taken it off to wash it, and to take a bath and put it right back on. It's a Toy Story 3 tank top on top of a t shirt.

Then he found these camouflage pj bottoms. They are only a size 12 months (he calls them a 12T) but he loves them. Chels took him to the Dr for a physical & when he took off his clothes he had put them on under his jeans again.
He got his shots for kindergarten. Chelsea took Papa for  reinforcement but Boo didn't even cry.



We finally got his camouflage clothes off,  then he had on his shark robe, swimming trunks and snow boots. He was going hunting for frogs with his flashlight & Papa.

Then when he was trying to take off his robe & the belt was tied I heard him say "Mimi, I could use a little help here!" ha   Camouflage~This to shall pass....
