Denver Trip~Friday Swimming , a nap, and the Colorado Rockies Game.

 One afternoon Kinzi woke up from her nap and we were all in the family room and she looked around at all of us and said "Hi Boo".

Today is the 2nd day the new aquarium in SLC has been opened. Gavin and I ventured out to go to it. He was so excited to go, which made me happy. Only about 1/2 of the exhibits are open and we got evacuated out to the rain for a bit, but it was still a good day. Chels text and asked how Boo was and he text back “Happy”. Doesn’t get any better than that.

  We took a road trip in Tom’s new truck to Big Papa and Peggy’s House. Boo went along to look for sheds and found a couple. We also stopped at Bandana Ranch to see where Ken & Holly’s land is. Gavin asked if we could do this again Sun or could we do this as a family tradition every year.

He not only found the shed, but the head also was still connected.

Killian said so many cute things when we were there and I've forgot most of them already.

2014 Stansbury Park Polar Bear Plunge

We had a really quiet New Year's Eve.  Have we ever stayed home alone in the 38 yrs we've been married? I can't remember. We used to always have a party either to attend or when we used to host one at the clubhouse for years. Then when the grand babies arrived we would rather stay home with them. But was it ever just Tom and I? I'm sure there was but we can't remember it. We decided last night it's a really good thing we like each other so much because more and more we're staying home with just the two of us. Tom made chili in the crock pot and we watched more of our Breaking Bad marathon. At 11:30 we had completed #20 of 53 episodes. Not sure if I love it but  I decided to step outside the box and try something new and now I have to finish them. Then I'll go back to my happily ever after shows.

Christmas Day with Boo

Boo got a new hangman game. We were playing it and I chose the word Bike to have him guess. He had already guessed the I and the K when he said I'm ready to guess the word. "I Love Killian".  Now that made me smile.

It was the week end before Christmas and all through the house.....

Tom, Shawn and I drove to Tabby Mtn to surprise Peggy and Big Tom for Peggy's 66th birthday. We had scary roads up Parley's Canyon both ways. Once we got to Tabby Mtn they had sunshine and only about an inch of snow.

 Big Tom had us get her a cabbage patch doll.

 We got Big Tom a black Denver Bronco shirt. We got to watch the game with him and they won.

 Peggy's kids made the trip up also.

Then we stopped by W&C's family Christmas party where we ran into Santa holding Addie. So precious.

Killian's 5th Birthday Party

The morning of Killian's birthday he said "I'm still young" and that evening he said "turning five wasn't bad". I guess he thought he was going to be old. He had a wonderful Wreck in Ralph Party with lots of guests. My photo fixing website is not working so haven't done any cropping but wanted to get these on here so I can get added to my blog book.

Thanksgiving Day Week end.

Chelsea and I were talking about what we did for Thanksgiving in 2012 and neither of us could remember. I told her I'd ck my blog book, but no help there. We finally remembered it was her and Boo for lunch then we went and visited Shawn & Michelle's family. I'm sure a movie also but I can't remember so I'm documenting this years.
Wednesday: Met Joy for lunch at Z-Tejas. We hadn't seen each other in about 20 yrs. Lots of fun catching up with kids and grandkids. Popped my head in work to a minute.
Thursday: Tom and I put our turkey on and walked to Maverik with Punkin to get a paper. They were out so we went to Soelberg's. They were out also. But we finally found one. Not telling where....
We got home and ate our delicious turkey dinner then went to Denny's to help pass out a few of the 450 dinners they were donating to people. We must've seen 20 people we knew in line doing the same thing. That was fun. We then stopped at Shawn & Michelle's to say HI and went to Saratoga Spgs to say HI to Big Tom & Peggy. On the way drove through old Magna and took this cute picture of the horse outside the bar waiting for his owner.
Friday: Tom went golfing so I convinced myself there was no reason to not do some black Friday shopping. Changed my mind when I was in Kohl's and the lines were to the back of the store. As I was walking to the back of the store to return my merchandise to the shelf I spotted an old friend I hadn't seen in years Vicki Hinnant. So we stood and talked the whole time and then it was my turn to pay. Yay.
Saturday: Chels and Boo were with Shane's family in Fairview so we decided to go for a little drive and see them. Boo had such a great time shooting his 22.
Sunday: We stayed home and put up our Christmas tree and decorations. A great long week end!
