Tom and Karen and House Hunting

Tom and Karen

Tom and Karen flew in from TX  and we met them in St. George to find a house. They wanted a rambler with a three car garage and a view of the red rocks. I think they found the perfect house. They had 20 homes with appointments and Tom was saying that's a lot of houses. Gavin was listening and said  "That's not to bad, you can look at one house an hour and have 4 hours leftover to sleep."   Luckily they found one they loved and the boys got to spend Fri afternoon golfing, Karen and I got to shop, and we all got more than four hours of sleep. So excited to have them closer to us again.

Paul's House in Kayenta

The bonus to our St. George trip was that my boss just bought a house near St. George also, and he offered it to us for the week-end. It was so relaxing, we loved it.

The hummingbirds love his back patio.

The address is 1387 Indigo and this is an Indigo bush that only blooms a short amount of time and it was this week-end.

A baby rabbit

The front of his house

and the living room.

The back patio which was our favorite spot to be. Every night we had an "orchestra" of creatures singing to us.

On our morning walk to the little reservoir.

They are an art community and this is at their art village. I love these wind thingies and would love to have one.
This was from another walk through the art sculpture gardens.

Blooming cactus.

And last but not least, The Biggest Loser Fitness Resort is right down the road. We probably should've been there instead, but I don't think it would've been near as much fun. We decided to live in Kayenta we need to be 10 yrs older, 30 lbs lighter, and a million dollars richer.

Killian Quips

As Tara was fixing his hair:
"Mom, not to crazy with the hair, I have to go to school today"

Clay also told him as they were watching a baseball Game on TV that we were all going to a Colorado Rockies game in a couple weeks in Colo.  K asked "Can Boo Boo help me bat?"  I guess he thought they were playing. Maybe one day!

Seussical the Musical

Stansbury High School put on Seussical the Musical this week and we got to attend. Play's are something that I love and want to introduce to my grandchildren and hope they love them as much as I do.  Boo never gets as excited as I do to go, but once there he always love them. He really liked this one and asked if he could go again and could he ask for a couple autographs. :)  That made the actors happy.

Baby Aspen

Got to meet sweet little Aspen yesterday. Made me so excited for our new baby. Darcy only lives about 10 min from my office, so I volunteered to come once a week and hold her while Darcy took a shower. She looked at me kind of funny like What? I just remember how it was and a nice long shower was nice without worrying about the baby crying, waking up, etc. Love those cheeks and that hair.

Darcy's Shower and New Baby Aspen Sue

Chelsea's childhood best friend Darcy Sue had a baby girl this morning and they named her Aspen Sue. She was born at 4:47 AM ~ 7 lbs 8 oz and 20 inches long. I got a text at 4AM  from her Mama and one of my best friends saying "at hospital, baby on the way".  Then less than an hour later a message with all the details. I remember when Boo & K were born and how ecstatic we were. I'm so happy for them. Can't wait to go see her tomorrow.

We went to her shower the first of April. This little doggie was her first baby and Boo who was lucky enough to go to the baby shower with us got to babysit the dog during the shower.

A few of the girlfriends with Boo in the middle. Notice all the safty pins on him? With a little help from Mimi he won the "you can't say Baby" game or you lose your safety pin. He won a restaurant gift certificate and tried to talk them into giving the dog as the prize.

Happy 6th Birthday Boo.

Boo stayed up until midnight the night before his birthday because he was so excited for this birthday. He had a soccer game first where he scored 5 goals, then we headed home for the party.
All Boo has talked about for 6 months is that he wanted an Army Birthday Party. He had an Image in his head with veterans and civilians and nerf gun fights. (love those camo boots)

So proud of his brass buttons and patches from Great Gpa Bud.
He told everyone they were over 50 yrs old and worth $1000.00 each.

K's Papa's making sure no one fell in the lake.

Obstacle Course Race.

Sergeant Gavin leading boot camp.

The civilians watching.

Peace is nice after all the army stuff.

His favorite thing was opening presents.

Here he is saying Woo Hoo, Money!

Boo and his friend Kador caught a fish at the same time. This is Kador's first fish he ever caught. He was hooked.

It's the season for Baseball and Frog/Crawdad/Tadpole Hunting

Vinylstudio54's latest design. Best looking batting helmet in the league!

They didn't find frogs, but they got some crawdads. I love how he brings the critters & lake water right in on my new carpet.  Good thing he's so loved.
Boo has one amazing Papa and they're a great team in catching critters.  I guess that's why he told me last night his favorite person in the whole world was his mom, then his dad, this his Papa, then Mimi.

Sunday Morning. A little more playing then time to go.

Killian wanted both Papa's to carry him to the car, so they did. Papa Tom should've gotten dressed.

Killian's here for his Great Grandpa's Wedding. Gavin missed it because he had his first soccer game. He told us "I can't believe you're missing my game for a wedding!"

Waiting for the ceremony to begin.

Checking out the cupcakes we get to eat.

The ceremony. Notice little JT on the left with his gun. I think it may have been a shotgun wedding.
