We stopped by Sweets Candy to pick up some salt water taffy for the McIntyre Family Reunion in PTD. 
The free tour only cost us $17.00 in candy and we gained 3 lbs in samples.  But it was fun.

Another Day, another fish.  I've convinced Boo that Mimi Kisses bring him Good Luck for fishing. So when he caught the first Big Bass  he told Tom "You're not getting enough Mimi kisses!" 

Boo was excited when Papa said they could cut up their hairnets to put bait in for fishing. 

A reminder to Boo... And Killians Word of the Day

Boo & I were at a house Tom just bought & saw a can outside that the previous owners were using as an ashtray, so we threw it away.  I told Boo "We're never going to smoke when we grow up, are we?" and he replied "Mimi, when I get big will you remind me!".  So this is to help me remember to remind him.
As for Killians Word of the Day: Sponge Bob.  Yep, that's an important one and he says it so cute. Made my morning.  (not quite as cute as Boidie (birdie) that he said on Sunday.

Boo's first concert at Red Butte. Brandi Carlile was great! It's the 2nd time we've seen her.

Taking a break after dancing, and singing, playing the air guitar, hitting a beach ball & even some somersaults in his dances. He loved his first concert.

Mimi Day 063010 Boo caught 2 Big Bass all by himself. He's so proud!

Boo & I decided our goal this summer was to visit all the parks in Stansbury Park.  So today we decided to play at five differn't ones.  After the fourth one he said "Mimi, this is kind of boring. Lets go home & go fishing." So we did. I'm not sure why we try to entertain him any other way. It's truly his favorite thing to do.  He told me today "We'll always have Mimi Days and we'll always go fishing, even when I'm 16." 

 I'm going to make him sign a contract stating this!

I got a little packing done today, Boo packed everything he owns,  we're so excited to go see Baby K!!!!

Tom bought himself a new camera for his birthday, so expect LOTS MORE Pictures. Is that possible????

Last night we watched Alice in Wonderland. I asked Boo if he ever had any crazy dreams like that. He told me "Mimi, I only dream about catching fish!" and I believe that.

Uhrich Reunion Traveling Gift

Many, Many years ago Aunt Bertha made this ceramic frog for the family reunion with a cute little poem about it  being a traveling gift. First Lloyd won it, then Mike Johnson. This year Aunt Elsie won it, but since it has been stored at her house for years Lana knew it wasn't going back to her house, so somehow I inherited it and had to figure out what to do with the cute frog with the broken off leg.  Tom had the idea of letting Gavin catch a frog & taking a picture with it. Then I had to decide what to do with the picture so I could throw away the frog. Jen suggested a journal, so that's the plan. That will be easier to store than a breakable frog.

FROG HUNTERS

The Frog Hunters were out this week-end. They caught frogs & crawdads. They brought them home (in the house) to share. And of course one of the  frogs got loose. All the girls screamed, Carole jumped on the couch, and the frog somehow jumped right in my glass of water.
