Happy 6th Birthday Boo.

Boo stayed up until midnight the night before his birthday because he was so excited for this birthday. He had a soccer game first where he scored 5 goals, then we headed home for the party.
All Boo has talked about for 6 months is that he wanted an Army Birthday Party. He had an Image in his head with veterans and civilians and nerf gun fights. (love those camo boots)

So proud of his brass buttons and patches from Great Gpa Bud.
He told everyone they were over 50 yrs old and worth $1000.00 each.

K's Papa's making sure no one fell in the lake.

Obstacle Course Race.

The civilians watching.

Peace is nice after all the army stuff.

His favorite thing was opening presents.

Here he is saying Woo Hoo, Money!

Boo and his friend Kador caught a fish at the same time. This is Kador's first fish he ever caught. He was hooked.

It's the season for Baseball and Frog/Crawdad/Tadpole Hunting

Vinylstudio54's latest design. Best looking batting helmet in the league!

They didn't find frogs, but they got some crawdads. I love how he brings the critters & lake water right in on my new carpet.  Good thing he's so loved.
Boo has one amazing Papa and they're a great team in catching critters.  I guess that's why he told me last night his favorite person in the whole world was his mom, then his dad, this his Papa, then Mimi.

Sunday Morning. A little more playing then time to go.

Killian wanted both Papa's to carry him to the car, so they did. Papa Tom should've gotten dressed.

Killian's here for his Great Grandpa's Wedding. Gavin missed it because he had his first soccer game. He told us "I can't believe you're missing my game for a wedding!"

Waiting for the ceremony to begin.

Checking out the cupcakes we get to eat.

The ceremony. Notice little JT on the left with his gun. I think it may have been a shotgun wedding.

Killians Here. He was so excited to play with Boo Boo.

Our Montana kids got in Thursday evening. Chels made homemade egg rolls and orange chicken and rice for us. K looked at Boo's fish bowl and said "You have a bowl of fish." He kept us laughing all week-end.
Always the favorite thing, video games.

Archer even got to come. He's about the same size as Boo.

Riding Mimi's Horse

This is the best picture I got of the two boys together.

Elizabeth Smart Event

Carole, Kari, Marsha, Carolyn & I went to the Healthy Woman's Event again this year. Every year they have a really great speaker. I learned from Ally on The Biggest Loser "There's a reason orange juice glasses are small~lots of calories" and from Richard Paul Evans "Don't give up your needs for your children's wants".
This year what I will always remember about Elizabeth Smart who told how she was kidnapped at age 14 for 9 months and raped repeatedly by him:  'The best punishment I could give him is to be happy'
And she did look and sound really happy. Amazing how some people can go through Hell and make the best of it. She also said when telling about trying to get her Elizabeth Smart Foundation in every school "The men are the head of the households, but the woman are the necks".
"Nobody is trial-free, but we have a choice," she said. "We can choose to allow our experiences to hold us back, and to not allow us to become great or achieve greatness in this life. Or we can allow our experiences to push us forward, to make us grateful for every day we have and to be all the more thankful for those who are around us."   She was very inspirational.

Out of this world.....

I sent Killian an Easter card with a space rabbit on it and it said "You Are Out of this World". He got a sad look and said "Why am I not in this world?"   Clay had to TRY and explain that to him.
Also I sent him the card and some cash to buy a treat and his favorite thing was the UP Stamp on the outside of the envelope.

Stansbury Easter Egg Hunt 2012

Boo and his mommy with the Easter Bunny
EASTER EGG HUNT and he went straight to one of the carrots we made from Stansbury Real Estate with two dollar bills in them, even though he helped make them and we had already saved one for him and Killian. Smart kid.

Chels, Gavin and friends. I have a smilar picture of Chels, Allison & Coco from the Easter Egg Hunt in Stansbury in 1994.

Two Easter bunnies? The fire department brought one also.

Love the spider, not to sure about the red glitter on it. Gavin does not care for sparkles. His mom loves them.

The Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy will both be making an appearance tonight.

Easter egg hunts, bike riding, but nothing beats coming home and fishing.

The bravest little boy ever...Clay said Killian liked his outfit because it matched the Doctors. Add Dr to our list of things we're sure K is going to achieve.

Round 3 of Botox.

New City Creek Mall

The new mall in downtown SLC has been open for a couple weeks and we finally got there last night.

It is beautiful. A creek runs down the middle of it and there are water fountains & a retractable roof.

Chels & I let Boo & Papa go check out the fountains while we shopped a little & Papa said he told Boo not to get wet, however he did. Conveniently located next to the fountains is a Gymboree Store. There were 3 other families in there buying new, dry clothes for their children also. I decided next time I'm running thru the fountains so I'll get new shoes, shirt, pants, socks and underwear.

We all loved the new mall and can't wait to go back.
