Thursday consisted of meeting friends for dinner and shopping at gardner village, then spending the whole night with the flu. We missed our planned trip to Idaho to see our kids. On Sat Boo came over after football. "Mimi are you still sick? " I told him I was feeling a little better. To which he responded: "cuz your legs are really pale".  ok beach and sun here I come.

FRI NIGHT FUN

Shelby & Boo came over Fri night. We fished and went for a boat ride. We were riding behind Julie's house and her grand baby was crying. Shelby said "Get her a binky!"

Boise Trip for Labor Day

Z and her mom got pedicures. She told me they went to the "Toe Painting Store".
and Liam was touching his mom's wedding ring and asked: Is that your ring? Can I pet it?

August is Over

August was CRAZY.  But everyone is getting settled in and life will be back to "normal" whatever that is.  When we were helping Clay and Tara move to Idaho the kids were so good and such troopers.
Killian is 7 and just moved in his 6th house.
Kinzi is 4 and just moved into her 4th house.  And Liam 2 1/2 and moving into house #3.  So I guess that is their norm. Hopefully they'll love Idaho and it will be a good place to be raised. Unless something better comes up in Utah! Some of the funny things they said and I don't want to forget:
Kinzi while fishing with Boo: Can I pet the fish? That's my thing.
Kinzi asking if I can stay at her house: Can you just stay here for a little weeks?
and Killian talking about our presidential candidates telling me he is an idiot. I told him it's OK to talk about it with our family but don't tell other people. Some people really like him, like Macy's mom and dad and uncle Gale. Killian looks and me and says "You got to be kidding!!!"

I got up and did my usual routine before work. Go to the laundry room, weigh, get clothes, peek in the family room (to make sure no one is living in there), and I see my "home" pillow upside down and I just started laughing. My home is turned a little upside down this morning but we love every min of all this company.

K*Z*L Visit to Mimi & Papa's House

Thu. Jul 21st. My kids are here. The cousins are so happy to see each other and B cracked her head on the fireplace.
Fri. Jul 22nd  Play date with K and Clay.  The Big River.
Sat Jul 23rd: Bar b q: Bounce House: Fishing
Sun Jul 24th: Aquarium, Guadalahonkys for dinner and a little shopping, and speed wheel chairing for K at IKEA.
Mon Jul 25th: Fireworks. When we went to bed Z told me "Mimi the fireworks are going off and it sound like the big bad wolf is knocking at our door".
Tue Jul 26th: Date night for Clay & Tara. Z told me her mom looked pretty and her dad amazing!
Wed Jul 27th: Thanksgiving Point, Dinosaur Museum, The Museum of Natural Curiosity, Family picture and garden whimsicals. (or "stacken crap" as Boo says)
Thur Jul 28th: Everyone left. Clay text that when they got home Liam was so upset that they weren't pulling up to our house and he got out of the car and started walking saying he was walking back to Mimi's house.   A Great Week was had by all....
