I got up and did my usual routine before work. Go to the laundry room, weigh, get clothes, peek in the family room (to make sure no one is living in there), and I see my "home" pillow upside down and I just started laughing. My home is turned a little upside down this morning but we love every min of all this company.

K*Z*L Visit to Mimi & Papa's House

Thu. Jul 21st. My kids are here. The cousins are so happy to see each other and B cracked her head on the fireplace.
Fri. Jul 22nd  Play date with K and Clay.  The Big River.
Sat Jul 23rd: Bar b q: Bounce House: Fishing
Sun Jul 24th: Aquarium, Guadalahonkys for dinner and a little shopping, and speed wheel chairing for K at IKEA.
Mon Jul 25th: Fireworks. When we went to bed Z told me "Mimi the fireworks are going off and it sound like the big bad wolf is knocking at our door".
Tue Jul 26th: Date night for Clay & Tara. Z told me her mom looked pretty and her dad amazing!
Wed Jul 27th: Thanksgiving Point, Dinosaur Museum, The Museum of Natural Curiosity, Family picture and garden whimsicals. (or "stacken crap" as Boo says)
Thur Jul 28th: Everyone left. Clay text that when they got home Liam was so upset that they weren't pulling up to our house and he got out of the car and started walking saying he was walking back to Mimi's house.   A Great Week was had by all....

this is what 60 looks like on tom.

On his 60th birthday he chose to get up at 430 and get on a fishing boat at 530 while his wifey crawled back in her warm bed with the fireplace going in the bedroom and the waves crashing outside.

sun. lincoln city farmers market & kite festival on the beach. mcmenamins pub for lunch and shopping.

sat jun 25th. flew into pdx, rented a car & drove to tillamook to meet randy & sindi at the Blue Heron. we went to tillamook cheese factory for an ice cream cone & cheese purchases. then to Cape Meares Lighthouse before checking into our condo at depoe bay.

Shelby's 1st time to an aquarium and she was amazed. She kept doing the sign language for More, More.  And when we saw the sharks swimming overheard she said WOW!!!

The Bowl~Tom and I stopped by the skate park to check on Boo & he was trying to get brave enough to go down "the bowl". His friends were peer pressuring him and I told him to wait until he was ready & remind his friend he didn't go swimming in the lake because he thought there were piranhas. Sat at this football game he told me he finally did it.

My Mimi day consisted of a nice long walk on our new sidewalk by the clubhouse in the morning, a cup of tea out back watching all the birds and enjoying the lake and our yard, going with Tom to look at a house in Tooele, Wal Mart, Tractor Supply, then back into town to Cal Ranch where we bought 2 baby chickens, because they were on sale for $1.00 a piece and we do already have a chicken house and all the stuff, etc...... 

Boo got in trouble at his Dad's so he had to stay and do chores and didn't get to come to my house until later.  I believe in him doing chores and all, but maybe next time, not on My Mimi Day.  

Baby Shelby has been sick with a fever and not feeling well so we went over to check on her and she really, really wanted to "GO" with us so we took her.  I told Chels just for an hour, but she stayed for about 4. And we played and took a nap and just hung out. I could tell she wasn't up to her normal self but we enjoyed her tons.

we took the back way and stopped several places along the way. 

our last stop of the day was strawberry. 

big papa fell out of his motorized chair and it fell on top of him. Luckily all he got was skinned up knees. 

Saturday night in the gazebo having a nice dinner with Matt & Eva and Chuck and Jason showed up to use the kayaks~ but they never did make it in the water. 

mouth surgery, rain and all; our neighborhood party turned out awesome. Chels said when Boo got out of the school the 1st thing he said was "It's a great day for a Neighborhood Party".

Yay~ we make it to 40 years of wedded bliss. ♥ my first choice would be celebrating on the beach with our family, but Lava Hot Springs and camping with friends was fun also. Just as long as we're together, everything's going to be alright. .
