Livin on the Lake Smell

Boo came in and told me to smell his hands. I was like what is that smell?  He said "Well It's kinda bad, but it's kinda good because it smells like LIVIN ON THE LAKE. ha

Labor Day Week end. Two movies (Rikki & the Flash and A Walk in the Woods) One football game to watch Boo, Scheels, Costco, Neighborhood bar b q and breakfast with Darcy. And in between plenty of sleep.

Since Boo's football game was in Draper we decided to go to Scheels & Costco after.  

HOW OLD ARE YOU? Shelby liked Costco. She just kept looking all around.

Conversation with Boo regarding Disneyland.

Tonight at dinner Boo says Let's go back to Disneyland! I said we need to wait until Shelby and Liam  get a little older before we go. He says Just you, me and Papa can go. I said well that wouldn't be fair to the other grandkids. His response the next second: Well let's not tell them! Tom and I are cracking up and he says I'm totally serious!!! So if we tell everyone we're
going camping, that's where we'll be. Ha

Boo's First Tackle Football Game and they won. Then Shelby spotted him, grabbed hold as he was walking by and she wasn't letting go.

Shelby hung out with me while Chels took Boo to football practice. She loves my laundry room & the bird & flowers stickers.

Marta's Surprise Shower~

When I found out Marta was getting married I decided I wanted to have a shower for her because she helps Tom so much. I started out with a girls luncheon, then decided Tom needed to be there so we changed it to a couple's shower. In between sending out invitations and the shower I got pneumonia and the shower was on and off a couple times. I finally decided I was going to have it even if Tom had to host it and I had to stay in our room. But I attended and it was a huge success. Marta was surprised. We had Cafe Rio cater it and the only flaw was they called at the last minute & didn't have anyone to deliver the food so Tom & Ron ran in and got it and all was well. 

and another Stansbury Days has come and gone.

Ahhh, it's Wed. I can breathe again.

Boo wanted to go into the Hotel Colorado because he heard there were ghosts. He took lots of pictures and is positive there's a ghost in one of his pictures and he told me the hair on the back of his neck stood up while we were in there. 

One last stop and stretch before getting home. 

Cousins Holiday Dinner at the Glenwood Brewpub

We were going to let Clay & Tara have a date night then we decided we all wanted to go to the Brewpub. 

Thank you Papa for working so hard loading and unloading and helping me get all the kiddos together. Cheers to you. You deserve a beer. 

Uncle Bobby joined us also as he was in town for work. 

As we're eating dinner this gal at the table next to us held up Kinzi's water shoes and told her friend she found her pink water shoes that she lost on the float trip that day but they had shrunk. Well Tara just happened to look over and see her holding them up and said "Those are my shoes!."  Kinzi had kicked them off in the lobby of the Hotel Denver as we were waiting for our table. We got them back, all got a great laugh,  and all was well. 

I tried really hard to get a good picture of all 5 grand babies. Not an easy feat.
