FROG HUNTING

Gavin was so excited with the big old frogs he caught that he brought them right up in my bedroom. I just knew the giant one was going to jump in bed with me, but he held on tight.

Boondocks

Gavin was invited to a birthday party this week for his friend Kator.  His Dad just returned from Afghanistan last week and Kator wanted his birthday party at Boondocks because before his Dad left, the military had paid for a day for the whole family at Boondocks & they had  such a good time. He only wanted to invite one person and it was Gavin. They met in pre school but Chels also knew his mom Colby from High School. I dropped them off and went shopping for a couple hours to Kohls, came back to check on them and left again for another hour to Ikea, and they still weren't ready to go. They were there for about 5 hours and had a blast.

Gavin was pretty scared to go to the dentist, but they were very good with him. He did have a couple cavities and has to go back.

Friday Night Golf League & Golfing Grandma's

Friday nights are the couples golf league night in Stansbury Park. They keep asking us to golf and I keep finding an excuse not to. So Friday night we took Gavin out golfing & we ran into several couples that we know that were golfing. Gavin whispers to me "Is that Gma going to golf?" and I told him yes. He said " I thought you were the only Grandma that golfed!"

Good-byes are the hardest part.

Over the river and through the woods to Mimi's House we go. However he said he was going over the Rocky Mtns and Mimi was going to help him climb them.

After months of planning what and where we were going to spend 4th of July we ended up at the "McCarty Casa Campsite". Even tho we have a beautiful lake in the backyard we spent lots of time in the driveway so Killian could ride his new trike.

Sun 070311 My mind is blank. ha  Oh yea, Cleaning up and resting up from Chucks party at our house. Went with mom and dad to see Larry Crowne movie with Tom Hanks & Julia Roberts in the afternoon.
Killian went to his other cousins house for dinner.

This morning I woke up at 6am because I need to go into my office for a couple hours before going to play with the kids. The house was quiet and Chels, Boo, Clay, Tara, and K were all fast asleep at our house. It was the most peaceful feeling I've had in a long time.

Tommy's 55th Birthday

Wed. 062911 Papa's 55th Birthday. Killian and his mom and dad arrived just in time for the birthday party. We had steak, salad, french bread, carrot cake, and of course ice cream.
