Boo had Mimi Day all planned out today!!!

   Boo had the day all planned out. Tennis, bike riding, fishing & making books. Not sure how we got it all in, but we did all this, plus went to SLC to pay for the house he and Papa bought yesterday on the county courthouse steps & went to my favorite restaurant in Trolley Square for lunch. 

   He also decided he wanted to try fishing at the clubhouse and the causeway to see if the fish were biting any better than behind our house. So we loaded up the bikes. I told him I looked like a "bag lady" my bike was so packed. He looked at me so sad and said "Why are you a "Bad Lady"? So I had to explain what a "bag lady" was. Not an easy task. Luckily Papa showed up and offered to take us in the golf cart. Much easier. We had a fun day!!!

Dinosaur Museum, Thanksgiving Point

Not than many really great pictures, but we had a really great day! Last year when we went he was a little afraid of the big old dinosaurs. This year he stayed really close to me, then we walked thru a second time & he was much braver. He's studying dinosaurs in school so he had a ton of questions.

First a soccer game, then fishing!!!

Boo's concentrating hard to catch those blue gills. He can see them swimming around so he's dangling the worm in front of their face. He caught over a dozen fish and even took two home for his waterfall, so he was happy. Don't tell the soccer coach I let him fish in his uniform though.

Luckily we had  beautiful weather for Boo's family birthday party last week-end, because it rained all day on

his birthday. We went to the aquarium and had a fun day anyway.  We didn't get to fish, but we got to look at them!

The rain did bring a Beautiful Rainbow though and Boo asked his Mom; "Who made that rainbow?" and she said "God" and Boo said "God must've known it was by Birthday!"  Yes, God is looking out for him.

What a nice birthday present.

When I told Boo we were coming to his game and were going to yell "GO BOO" he told me NO MIMI

you can clap, but don't holler GO BOO. So I tried really hard to keep quiet! He did really good & one time during

the middle of the game ran by us and waved! The name of his team is the Alligators. As a sports mom for so many years, I am so excited to be a Sports Mimi. Right at the top of my list as one of my favorite ways to spend a Saturday morning.

MIMI DAY 04-07-2010

BOO IS ALMOST FOUR AND GETTING PRETTY STINGY WITH THOSE KISSES. SO YESTERDAY BEFORE HE AND PAPA WENT OUTSIDE TO FISH I TOLD HIM I NEEDED A KISS TO BRING HIM GOOD LUCK. IT TOOK AWHILE, BUT HE FINALLY CAUGHT A COUPLE FISH. HE RAN IN AND TOLD ME "MIMI, IT WORKED, IT WORKED". I'M SO GLAD. MAYBE I'LL GET A COUPLE MORE KISSES IN THE FUTURE! PROMISING THE FISH HE'LL THROW HIM BACK.

IT WAS A BIG ONE. HE WORKED HARD TO GET IT IN.
