Thurs May 8 Long morning walk with Tom and we saw dolphins. We went to the Mote aquarium and boat tour where we saw more dolphins and also houses of Jerry Springer, Lucille & Desi Arnaz, Bob Hope. Went to Salty Dogs for lunch where we saw two manatees in the ocean swimming by.

Wed May 7th Today we went Beach Hopping to Coquina Beach, Cortez Beach and Anna Maria Island. We shopped at the St Armond Circle Shops and had dinner at the Marina Jack Restaurant

 My morning walk. We could walk for miles both directions and had very few people on our beach.

Tues May 6th Caspersen Beach, Siesta Keys Beach, Sharkeys on the Pier for Lunch and to our condo at Sea Horse Beach Resort #247 3453 Gulf of Mexico Dr. Long Boat Key, FL

The clerk at the Inn suggested we go to Caspersen Beach to look for sharks teeth. It was only a few miles away. Once we found one and knew what to look for we had success.

  we liked this guys invention so we took a picture for our next shark hunting trip.

 Siesta Key's Beach voted #1 beach in the USA so colorful on the beach and the sand was so soft.

 Pretty happy with the view from our balcony. Fred & Anne were our neighbors on the left and Bob and Dolly our neighbors on the right. Everyone made sure they were on the balcony at 8:00 for the sunset. We shared drinks and ice cream.

 

Mon MAY 5th FLORIDA TRIP 1ST NIGHT IN VENICE, FL

We flew into Orlando, rented a mini van and drove to Venice, FL for the night. We stayed at the Inn on the Beach. We arrived in time to watch the sunset then went to dinner at the Daiquiri Deck in downtown Venice.  Venice is famous for sharks teeth on the beach and the Inn had sharks teeth screens they let us borrow. We didn't have any luck the first night. Venice is also where Tervis cups are made so we stopped at a factory store and bought several.

Playing for Jesse today. They won and Boo got an interception. When I was drawing on his arm He told me "Mimi my mom doesn't allow me to write with permanent markers on myself".

Cocoon or Cancun????

Killian is learning about bugs at school and came home and told his momma; "Did you know caterpillars hatch out of Cancuns?"  Yes, I love this boy. He makes me smile.
and on a sad note:
Boo and Tom and I were outside playing catch with his football in the front yard.
Darcy came out with her seat cushion, her blanket, and a framed picture of Jesse
sitting beside her and they watched us play.

Den Trip~Sun Long walk and playing with the kids and home again.

The Easter Bunny brought the kids bird houses to paint. Killian told us he was painting it green for the grass and orange for the sky. I said "Is the sky orange?" and he said "Yes, the Sunset is."  That is one smart little boy.

Denver Trip~Friday Swimming , a nap, and the Colorado Rockies Game.

 One afternoon Kinzi woke up from her nap and we were all in the family room and she looked around at all of us and said "Hi Boo".

 All ready for the big game.

Today is the 2nd day the new aquarium in SLC has been opened. Gavin and I ventured out to go to it. He was so excited to go, which made me happy. Only about 1/2 of the exhibits are open and we got evacuated out to the rain for a bit, but it was still a good day. Chels text and asked how Boo was and he text back “Happy”. Doesn’t get any better than that.

Road Trip in Papa's new truck with Boo.

  We took a road trip in Tom’s new truck to Big Papa and Peggy’s House. Boo went along to look for sheds and found a couple. We also stopped at Bandana Ranch to see where Ken & Holly’s land is. Gavin asked if we could do this again Sun or could we do this as a family tradition every year.

He not only found the shed, but the head also was still connected.
