Disneyland~Day 3

We started our day off at California Adventureland at 8am. Thanks to my homework, I jumped in the fastpass line to get a ticket for the new cars ride. Disney has added 12 acres for  it. I was in line for almost a hour and our time to return wasn't until 8 pm. But it was worth the wait. We loved it.

Emery & Avery are in Disneyland too!!!

Boo finally got to swim in the hotel pool as we took a break mid day for  a swim and some rest.

Pretty Lights.

Day 2~Universal Studios

All the fun characters at Universal Studio's.

Boo's favorite store.

The first ride of the day was Jurrasic Park Rapids. So proud of himself that he rode it. The final plunge was 85 feet.

We got woke up by a little boys jumping in bed with us all energized and saying "Let's go back to Disneyland!" But we told him today was Universal Studio's Day. The worse thing about Universal was driving in traffic to and from with a GPS that was taking us all sorts of weird ways because we had it set for "avoid traffic" and didn't know it..

Disneyland Trip~Day One

On the way to the airport for our flight. I changed our airplane tickets 3 times, then we missed our early morning flight. That is a first for us. Luckily there was another one that put us in only 1 hour later.  I also changed our hotel and our rental car twice and I read a book on Disneyland cover to cover on what order to do each ride in the parks. Yep, I did my homework..... which doesn't matter if you miss your flight.

Laguna Beach Looking for seashells.

We hadn't planned on going to Disneyland Wed afternoon, but our tickets were for 3 days so we decided to go ck it out. We got several of the major rides in as it wasn't very busy.

Boo's favorite for today was Buzz Lightyear. We rode it three times.

Haunted Mansion.

We couldn't talk Boo into going on the log ride.

When we got to our hotel that night we decided to get in the hot tub. Gavin was laying in bed, set up and said he wanted to go, then layed back down and said "I can't do it!" and he was out.

Mimi Day 101012 and Chels & Boo up the canyon.

We went to the new Scheels on Mimi afternoon. It has beautiful bronze statues, a ferris wheel, an aquarium and shooting games. Clay & Tara have one in MT and we always like to go there so we're excited we now have one in UT.

Boo Bits and Killian Quips

Nana Carole to Killian: "Killian do you have school tomorrow?"
Killian: "We'll see"   ha ha

Boo was telling us about the janerator. I said "Who is the janerator?"
Boo: "You know the guy that cleans the toilets at my school."
He also calls racoons; RATACOONS. and samples at Costco STAMPLES.
He has for over a year. It's so cute I can't correct him. When he says it I can just smile.

And Killian started school and the first week already got kissed by a girl. I was telling Tom and Gavin was listening
and said Very seriously
"He's way to young Mimi!"

Sunflower pictures

I asked Boo if he would go do a photo shoot with me in a field of sunflowers I saw.  He told me "Mimi we have sunflowers out back, let's just go out there."  Well, there is a difference between a field of sunflowers and a couple sunflowers growing wild in the backyard, but a pictures, a picture!

Throwing rocks.

And this cute one on the boat was all his idea.

Killian Quips and Boo Bits

Conversation in Car with Boo:
Boo: Mimi can I go to Cancun with you this year?
Me: Not this year, I'm going with my sister.
Boo, mad: That's not fair, I never get to go.
Me: You got to go twice and Lori's never been there.
Boo, serious: Is this going to be her first time?
Me: Yes
Boo, very, very, sweet: OK, she needs to go. Just tell her if she see's something that looks like a slug in the water  it's a jellyfish and it could sting her.

and a Conversation between Tara & Killian as told by Tara:
Yesterday it was so loud in the house with Killian playing, Kinzi crying and the TV on loud. I told Killian to turn off the freaking TV so I could hear myself. Later that day Killian told me, "you can't call that TV a freakin TV, you have to call it a Direct TV because we have a Direct TV".

Toms cousin Ronnie died this week of a heart attack at the age of 53 so we made a quick trip to Denver.

Ronnie and Tommy in the 80's
Pictures at the Memorial along with his boots and metal art. They also had his rock collection at the entrance with a sign take one. I loved that idea.

Tommy and his brothers with Uncle Don.

"If you're a McCarty get in the picture"
Mom and Dad were out of town and Gale was having a garage sale. So we got to laughing we should move their furniture and say he sold it, but we decided this sign was easier.

Drove to Parker to get a hug from my sister.

Too many pictures and books I read.

The last time I tried to post on here I got a message that I had used up all my space for pictures. I'm in the process of deleting pictures so I can post more. Because words are nice, but pictures are my joy.

The books I've been reading the last month are The Secret and The Fifty Shades of Grey. Two very differn't books...  Each have taught me a couple things...  The Secret is probably the one I got the most out of. Chels read it then passed it on. My girlfriend said she listens to it in her car everyday on the way to work. After I read it I understand why. There are things in it that I know, but it helps to be reminded, daily. Some of the things it said that I want to remember:
(1) The Great Secret of Life is the law of attraction. Like attracts like, so when you think a thought, you are also attracting like thoughts to you. Your current thoughts are creating your future life.
(2) It is impossible to feel bad and at the same time have good thoughts.
(3) Gratitude is a powerful process for shifting your energy and bringing more of what you want into your life. Be grateful for what you already have, and you will attract more good things.
(4) Give money in order to bring more of it into your life. When you are generous with  money and feel good about sharing it, you are saying, "I have plenty."
(5) Laughter attracts joy, releases negativity, and leads to miraculous cures.
(6) You cannot help the world by focusing on the negative things. Praise and bless everything in the world, and you will dissolve negativity.
(7) Do what you love. This will attract an avalanche of joyful things because you are radiationg joy. And probably the most important thing for me in the book:
(8) If you go back and focus on the difficulties from the past, you are just bringing more difficult circumstances to you now. Let it all go, no matter what it is. Do it for you. If you hold a grudge
you are only harming you. You are the only one who can create the life you deserve. As you deliberately focus on what you want, as you begin to radiate good feelings, the law of attraction will respond.
Chels told me that her Dad could of written this book. Because he's known "The Secret" all along.
