The Bowl~Tom and I stopped by the skate park to check on Boo & he was trying to get brave enough to go down "the bowl". His friends were peer pressuring him and I told him to wait until he was ready & remind his friend he didn't go swimming in the lake because he thought there were piranhas. Sat at this football game he told me he finally did it.

My Mimi day consisted of a nice long walk on our new sidewalk by the clubhouse in the morning, a cup of tea out back watching all the birds and enjoying the lake and our yard, going with Tom to look at a house in Tooele, Wal Mart, Tractor Supply, then back into town to Cal Ranch where we bought 2 baby chickens, because they were on sale for $1.00 a piece and we do already have a chicken house and all the stuff, etc...... 

Boo got in trouble at his Dad's so he had to stay and do chores and didn't get to come to my house until later.  I believe in him doing chores and all, but maybe next time, not on My Mimi Day.  

Baby Shelby has been sick with a fever and not feeling well so we went over to check on her and she really, really wanted to "GO" with us so we took her.  I told Chels just for an hour, but she stayed for about 4. And we played and took a nap and just hung out. I could tell she wasn't up to her normal self but we enjoyed her tons.

our last stop of the day was strawberry. 

big papa fell out of his motorized chair and it fell on top of him. Luckily all he got was skinned up knees. 

Saturday night in the gazebo having a nice dinner with Matt & Eva and Chuck and Jason showed up to use the kayaks~ but they never did make it in the water. 

mouth surgery, rain and all; our neighborhood party turned out awesome. Chels said when Boo got out of the school the 1st thing he said was "It's a great day for a Neighborhood Party".

Yay~ we make it to 40 years of wedded bliss. ♥ my first choice would be celebrating on the beach with our family, but Lava Hot Springs and camping with friends was fun also. Just as long as we're together, everything's going to be alright. .

Mimi Day/Work Day/Miss Bee Day

The last 48 hours have included an oral surgeon consultation, Winco, Macey's, pedicures with my sweetie, vinyl application to a car, a road trip to Pleasant Grove to meet our CPA Noelle, Wal mart, Costco, lunch at Lehi La Fountain, & a golf cart ride to Soelbergs along with seeing this sweetie and her big brother and getting our house & camper ready for this week end.  Whew...... plus work 

Friday the 13th and WEEK END FUN

FRI: We went to a Bee's Game. They played ALB which is the Rockies Farm Team. ALB got a grand slam and we thought they had won it but the Bee's came back for the win. Exciting game. Front row seats. Beautiful night for weather.  

Sat morning Boo was at our house early. He fished and rode his scooter and we went to his football game where he scored 4 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. I think the Tampa Buccaneers tattoos and socks & shirt we got him in FL helped. We went to lunch after to celebrate with smothered burritos. 

 Sun we worked in the yard and played. Chuck bought two new kayaks and asked to park on our beach and we could use anytime. They were fun and the lake was so clear we could see the fish and frogs and turtles.

and this kid rode his scooter over with his backpack. And inside...was Mojo.

Boo turned 10 this week. To celebrate we took him and a friend go-carting. They loved it. After we went to our house for pizza. The boys fished and Brandon caught his 1st fish. Then they went frog hunting and brought one in to show Shelby. It was a fun day. Boo has brought us so much joy this past 10 years. May the next 10 years be as good..... ha

Tues-How did that week go so fast?

After a perfect week with everything going our way from trolleys, to water taxis and shows all being ready when we were and talking about traveling with lucky and lucky (Tom and Gary) we had a comedy of errors. I woke up 4am our time and sat on the balcony waiting for the sun to come up for one more walk on the beach. Our daily dolphin show didn't show up.  We went to the Florida Mall to shop and be close to the airport and have lunch at Buca Di Beppo. At the airport security Marsha realized her drivers license was packed away in her checked bag and she had to get frisked, several times to get thru. Gary split his shorts all the way from top to bottom and his clothes were in his check on. And when we finally got to the parking lot to go home in SLC; their brand new Buick had the window rolled down all week thru snow and rain, etc. Guess we were a little excited to go on vacation and the bus was right there waiting for us when we pulled in. So I think our luck ran out and it's time to be home.

It's our last day. The plan was to go to The Florida Aquarium but the guys really didn't want to go. We had tickets as we bought the Tampa Bay Ciy Passes that included lots of things. We decided if we bought it we would go see more. Not sure if we saved any money but it was worth it to not wait in the ticket line at Busch Gardens.  Marsha & I talked about going alone to the aquarium but it was almost an hour away and right downtown so we just enjoyed the beach all morning then went to John's Pass shopping in the afternoon. Marsha & I shopped & the guys went to have a drink and wait for us for dinner. I text  Tom that we would be there soon and I got this picture text saying:  "TAKE YOUR TIME".  We all got a good laugh out of it. 

We almost missed the sunset tonight so we pulled off on a public beach on our way home to watch it go down. The Sunset Cruise boat is in this picture.
