Boo's 4th Birthday~A New Bike & Nintendo DS~The Aquarium

Luckily we had  beautiful weather for Boo's family birthday party last week-end, because it rained all day on

his birthday. We went to the aquarium and had a fun day anyway.  We didn't get to fish, but we got to look at them!

The rain did bring a Beautiful Rainbow though and Boo asked his Mom; "Who made that rainbow?" and she said "God" and Boo said "God must've known it was by Birthday!"  Yes, God is looking out for him.

What a nice birthday present.

When I told Boo we were coming to his game and were going to yell "GO BOO" he told me NO MIMI

you can clap, but don't holler GO BOO. So I tried really hard to keep quiet! He did really good & one time during

the middle of the game ran by us and waved! The name of his team is the Alligators. As a sports mom for so many years, I am so excited to be a Sports Mimi. Right at the top of my list as one of my favorite ways to spend a Saturday morning.

That wore me out!!!

MIMI DAY 04-07-2010

BOO IS ALMOST FOUR AND GETTING PRETTY STINGY WITH THOSE KISSES. SO YESTERDAY BEFORE HE AND PAPA WENT OUTSIDE TO FISH I TOLD HIM I NEEDED A KISS TO BRING HIM GOOD LUCK. IT TOOK AWHILE, BUT HE FINALLY CAUGHT A COUPLE FISH. HE RAN IN AND TOLD ME "MIMI, IT WORKED, IT WORKED". I'M SO GLAD. MAYBE I'LL GET A COUPLE MORE KISSES IN THE FUTURE! PROMISING THE FISH HE'LL THROW HIM BACK.

IT WAS A BIG ONE. HE WORKED HARD TO GET IT IN.

Boo Finally Ran out of Juice Sunday Afternoon

Right before Boo goes to sleep he always says he's hungry. He told Tom "I'm really thirsty and hungry BUDDY!" After fishing, and bike riding, and playing so hard, he finally laid down on Tom and he was Out!!!

MiMi's House: Where cousins become Best Friends.

BOO AND PAPA'S PROJECT. I DON'T KNOW WHO WAS MORE EXCITED!!!

BOO & PAPA BUILDING THE PLAYHOUSE IN THE GARAGE. IT SERIOUSLY TOOK 3-4 HOURS. I WAS IMAGINING A HOLE CUT FOR A DOOR, BUT PAPA HAD OTHER PLANS WHICH INCLUDED TWO DOORS AND THREE WINDOWS.

THEN IT HAD TO BE CUT IN HALF TO GET IT IN THE HOUSE, THEN PUT BACK TOGETHER. IT IS PERMANENTLY NOW IN MY VINYL ROOM & I HAVE PROMISED BABY K I WOULD LEAVE IT UP UNTIL HE COMES TO VISIT THE NEXT TIME. I HOPE IF "HOUSE BEAUTIFUL MAGAZINE" SHOWS UP TO DO A PHOTOSHOOT, THEY'LL OVERLOOK IT!! HA

NEXT HE WANTED POPCORN, A BLANKET, STUFFED ANIMALS, THEN HE ASKED FOR A TV. I LAUGHED, BUT PAPA WENT AND FOUND THE PORTABLE DVD PLAYER & HOOKED IT UP & HE STAYED IN THE PLAYHOUSE WITH BOO AND WATCHED A WHOLE MOVIE.

HE EVEN HAS A LAKE VIEW OUT OF HIS HOUSE.

NEXT HE WANTED TO DECORATE IT. I KNEW I'D SAVED ALL THAT SCRAP VINYL FOR A GOOD REASON. HE SPENT HOURS "DECORATING" AND SINCE THESE PICTURES WE'VE SPENT ANOTHER DAY "DECORATING". I'LL ADD MORE PICTURES ONE DAY.

BOO IS SUCH A LUCKY LITTLE BOY TO HAVE A PAPA THAT LOVES HIM SO MUCH AND IS SO TALENTED & CREATIVE TO COME UP WITH THIS. XOXOXO

AND ONE OTHER BONUS: THE PLAYHOUSE BOX CAME WITH A BEAUTIFUL SECTIONAL.

We're so Happy Baby K and his mom & dad finally made it to our house last week-end!! It was so fun, and went so fast.

We celebrated Tara's birthday. Cute matching PJ's . They didn't have matching ones for Clay though, darn't!

Gavin hid Uncle Clay's Hat behind the couch as a trick. So the next day when his glasses were missing he looked behind the couch then called Gavin & asked what he did with them. Gavin promised he hadn't seen them.  Well the next day Clay found them in his car so he called Gavin to tell him Sorry that he thought he had hid them & he found them. Gavin responded:" IT'S OK UNCLE CLAY~STUFF HAPPENS!"

Lacey's trip to stay with Gavin.

Lacey came to visit and Gavin was writing lots of scribbles. I asked him what it said:
"I love Moma?"  He says " NO"
"I love Mimi,?"   He says " NO"
"I Love Lacey?"  Again he says " NO"
So I said "Well you wrote it, what does it say?"
He told me "I can't read yet!"   We all cracked up and he said "I'm Serious!"

SUNSET IN FERRY FROM COZUMEL

We went to Playa De Carmen this year with 8 friends. It was about 85 degrees warmer than in UT for a couple days. We also got to spend a couple days with Aunt Jan & Uncle Walter who were staying in Cozumel. Such a fun relaxing trip.
