~Flat Stanley Was So Happy Today to meet another Flat Stanley~

One of my owner/operators was talking about his Flat Stanley and I told him I had one also. So he went out to his truck & brought his Flat STanley & camera in and took these pictures for me. His Flat Stanley has been to Iraq, sailing in CA and he was dressed in a "Two Dogs Trucking" T-Shirt.

Tara's SLC Baby Shower

Tara's friend Tanya threw her a wonderful Baby Shower this week-end. Gifts included Bronco Burp Pads from Gma Frances & a Joes CrabShack T-Shirt from Josh & Lacey.

What we do when Mommy's at work.

Yesterday when Gavie and I were making cookies my girlfriend called & we were talking about my new vinyl machine. I told her I'll call you and you can come over and play on it with me. When I hung up Gavie asked "Mi, Can I go to the playground with you too? I like the slides!" Little ears are always listening.
Oh, he also told me yesterday when I was changing clothes: "Cute Underwear Mi!"

Gavie/Grammy Wednesday October 8th

Gavie & I were both happy to see each other today and just hang out together. We picked tomatoes & jalapenos & made green chili & cookies. Then I negotiated with him to stand in front of our Pyracantha for a picture and he could go fishing or "shishing" as he calls it. The birds love the orange berries on this plant.

Middle Canyon~One week later

even though mommy carried him over the water he managed to get wet to his knees



Gavin found a heart shaped rock for Mi. He is so sweet. Chelsea was carrying him up this big rock and I was climbing behind them and he turned his head around and said "Be Cawreful Mi!!!!" So cute that he was worried about me.

We couldn't believe how much the leaves had changed in one week. Fall is here!!!

Walking for the Hydrocephalus Association~Team Carter

Saturday morning Chelsea, Gavin & I went on a walk for the Hydrocephalus Assocation.
We went to support this beautiful little boy Carter. He has the cutest smiles and longest eyelashes. His wonderful mom, Lara went to school & hung out with Clay & Chels and lived close by us in Stansbury. The walk was a huge success and raised lots of money & Team Carter took 1st place for the most people who came out to walk, and won 2nd place for the most money raised. It was so well organized & they had lots of fun stuff after the walk for the kids. We're so glad we went.

Gardner Village

We're trying to get in every beautiful day before the weather gets cold. Today we went to Gardner Village and saw all the witches that came out for Halloween.

Clay & Tara

Last night Clay & Tara started Baby Classes at the Hospital.(They said they think they were the oldest couple in there.) They have about two and a half months to go. That baby boy is growing & exercising in mommy's tummy.

Middle Canyon

Chelsea, Gavin & I went for a hike up the canyon today and a few of the leaves are already starting to change. We hiked thru streams, saw waterfalls & Gavie got to throw lots of rocks. We also collected some rocks for the new waterfall Gavin's daddy is building in their backyard. Also, Tom got to feel the baby move yesterday.

Luckily for our family Tara doesn't seem to mind us always wanting to touch her belly. Well Saturday night when Clay & Tara were over little baby boy McCarty starting moving and I got to feel him. It is the greatest feeling. We are so excited for him to be born.

More Boo, More Big Bass

Clay went to Gavins house Fri night & Gavin had 2 pillows. Clay asked if he could have one & Gavin said No. Clay said I'll take you fishing for "heavy bass" if you share one, and Gavin said "Here, you take two". So Uncle Clay followed thru, brought worms & came over fishing Sat night. Gavin was a happy boy & will tell anyone that will listen "I catch Big Bass all by myself!"

Wed. is Gavin Day

Today I took Gavin to Story Time at the Library, then the playground & all he kept saying is "I want to go fishing at Mi's House". So we're sitting fishing and he kisses my hand and said "you're nice Mi, and I love you and pappa to let me go fishing". What a charmer, it's hard to say no to that.
